I didn't even know who he was, until I heard it on the radio in my dad's car, and a girl in my class said something about it too. I didn't care then, and I most definitely care about him now! Even if he did something important, I don't have to like that person.

The kicker is that he didn't even do anything important. He was just another singer. I don't think he was involved in anything significant aside from contributing to pop culture.

Yeah, people get too into things, even though they have absolutely no idea what's going on. Like when I heard about his death, I felt a little sad that he died, but got over it in like 5 seconds. You could feel bad about/for someone, but don't dwell on it for so long. Then it becomes annoying.
